Italy republic came into being in 1946
The Constitutionwas approved in 1947, into effect in 1948

-)The country is organized in 21regions
Is also organized in regions,Porvincies, municipates
5 of them have special statues

-)The head of the State is the President of the Republic, wich is elected by the parliment and his session is of 7 years

-)The parliment is arraged intotwo chambers:the Camera and the Senato
It has the legislative power and is in confidence with the council of ministers
Laws must be approved by the Parliment

-)The judiciary power is in the hands of the Consiglio Superiore della Magistratura

Most of the contracts are indefinite (no end specificate)
Fixed time, permissions such as maternity, personal problems ecc.
They can be approved only if there is a justified reason
The civil codeprovides tat every cotract of indefinite duraton can be terminate

-)Hours of work 
An employer can not work more than 8 hours per day and 48 per week
Also hour in exess of 40 hours a week are now considered as an over time work and it is retribued with a special pay 
Students have to be paid for them exams
