Do you Know we make over 700 types of cheese? If you like cheese, come to the Nantwich International Cheese Show, considered the “number 1 cheese show on earth”. Britain is, of course, an island, so we have some of the best seafood in the world. The tasty oysters of Whitestable –celebrates by the Romans, too!- are the protagonists of the world-famous Whitestable Oyster Festival. Pembrokeshire Fish Week in Wales is also a fishy feast not to miss whit an entire week devoted to the crab and other fish, typical of the area. Don’t forget the Ludlow Food Festival, must if you are a fan of the food festivals. It hosts 130 independent food and drink producers and events include cookery competitions, tutorials and contests judging the best sausages, pork pies and sandwiches.
