Britain’s Food and Drink Festivals

Do you know we make over 700 types of Ø cheese? If you like cheese, come to the Nantwich International Cheese Show, considerate the “number 1 cheese show on earth” Britain is, of course, an island, so we have some of best seafood in the world. The tasty oysters of Whitstable – celebrated by the Romans, too! – are the protagonists of the world-famous Whitstable Oyster Festival. Pembrokeshire Fish Week in Wales is also a fishy feast not to miss with a entire week devotes to the crab and other fish, typical of the area. Don’t forget the Ludlow Food Festival, the must if you are a fan of Ø food festivals. It hosts 130 independence food and drink producers and events include Ø cookery competitions, tutorials and contests judging the best sausages, pork pies and sandwitch.
