Do you know we make over 700 types of cheese? If you like cheese, come to the Nantwich International Cheese Show, considered the “number 1 cheese show on the earth”. Britain is, of course, an island, so we have some of the best seafood in the world. The tasty oysters of Whitsable - celebrated by the Romans too! - are the protagonist of the world-famous Whitstable Oyster Festival.

Pembrokeshire Fish Week in Wales is also a fishy feast not to miss with the entire week devoted to the crab and other fish, typical of the area.

Don’t forget the Ludlow Food Festiva, a must if you are a fan of the food festivals.

It hosts 130 independent food and drink producers and events include cookery competitions, tutorials and contests judging the best sausage, pork pies and sandwiches.
