THE IGNOBLE PROCESSION

1)Title:

Looking at the title the reader is curious about the reason why a procession is connoted with the adjective ignoble.

Considering that processions are usually made up of people, the reader expect the poem to be about a procession where the members are considered ignoble. Something like prisoners of war, criminals or human beings of questionable morality.

2)Lay out:

The poem is arranged into three free verse, because it has not the ordinary structure of poetic language.
