Just watching the music video what strikes my attention is the curtain that flutters softly and conveys a feeling of peace, that is also the title of the song.

The sweetness of the singer’s voice and the stillness rhytm’s create a relaxing atmosphere, which makes the listener forget his worries and focus on the song.

Considering the lyrics the reader notices that in the first two stanzas the singer conveys painful feeligs: indeed she uses the metaphor “Battle field” to refers to her mind.  In the text the speaker seems to be lost: He’s feeling in the middle of nowhere, in a conflict in mind, like a ship in a see and can’t act( the inability is expressed by the passive form) but in verse two there is a new idea: in this dark atmophere a new possibility may come from someone’s gentle.

The assonance of the sound “E” that recurrs seven time in the economy of the text recreats, on the soundlevel, a request of help.

The expressions that underlines the feeling of sadness are “I’m broken”, “When wide world is crashing down”,”I fall to my knees”

Peace is sweet, holds him when he is broken, passes undertand.

In the last line of the possessive adjective is capitolised because the speaking voice wants to refer

to God. He’s connected with the expressione “Never far” . He’s close and keeps the speaking voice safe in his arms.

All changes when the whisper of a "You" reaches out the singer:instantly she finds peace and hope.

During the following stanzas the singer continues conveying painful events but the difference is that now, with the help of this "You", she feels protected and finally in peace.

In sixth the stanza the reader undetsrands that "You" is God, that protects her and takes away her fear.

I believe this song is really significanlty and can help people which are transcurring a painful period, thus conforting  and making them believe in God. This invitation to search for peace and hope is what makes this song so beautiful.
