MY CHRISTMAS HOLIDAYS

Hello Miss Beltramini,

How are you?

I want to tell you about my Christmas holidays.

These holidays are different than the previous years’ ones.

Last year, on Christmas Eve, I celebrated my cousin’s birthday with my grandparents and other children. On Christmas day I went to church with my parents and my brother and then we had lunch with all our family. On New Year’s Eve I went with my parents and my brother to the spa in Austria and we spent two days there! During the holidays I often met my friends and we watched a film and had a pizza together; it was fantastic!

But this year, because of Covid, I couldn’t meet my friends or have a big lunch with my family on Christmas day.

During these strange holidays I went to my cousin’s 4^th birthday on Christmas Eve. Fortunately my aunt and uncle live in a little village near where I live so we could go there! Then on Christmas day I went to church with my mother and my brother and after that, I helped my mother to cook lunch. At one o’clock p.m. I had lunch with my grandparents, my parents and my brother. Luckily my grandparents live in the house next to us! After lunch I read and spent some time with my brother. Yesterday I did some homework and I went for a walk with my mother. It was sunny and warm, but a little windy. Yesterday evening, and every evening, we watched a film on TV.

I think that during the next days I’m going to do the same: do my homework and be lazy. On New Years Eve I’m going to stay at home and I’m going to relax some more: I’m going to read, watch TV and bake a cake with my brother.

I’m enjoying these holidays! I like to spend time with my family and I can relax more than the last years.
