Good Morning teacher,

How are you? I hope she is all alright.

There are a few things I would like to tell you. Because of the situation we find ourselves, at least we in high school must stay at home and follow the lessons from a distance, as you already know. So, there are some elements that I miss about school, for example the contact with my classmates and with the teachers (even if for example with my classmates we can't hug each other, stay less than a meter away but we are content to go to school at least, which now, as I said earlier, impossible). Another element of the school that I miss a lot is the possibility of taking trips with my friends whether they are school trips (take during the school timetable or even those trips that last several days) or spend one or more days for example at the sea, in the mountains; maybe to ski, since many know how to do it, including myself; but also simply spending an afternoon at the restaurant all together, which is now forbidden because there can be a maximum of six people at the table. Another thing I could do together was to go to the feast of San Martino all together but due to the COVID-19 this party was canceled. Anyway, let's move on to something a little more beautiful. I say a little more beautiful because the things we can do are limited, again due to the ongoing global pandemic. On December 25th, my family and I went to mass at 09:30 in the morning, however, in addition to attending mass, I also worked as an altar boy. Then we went home and spent the rest of the day at home. For me it is not new because we are not the people who have Christmas dinners with the whole family. We exchange greetings and then, in the days following Christmas, my family and I go to visit my uncles, for example. What did you do at Christmas instead? After Christmas, precisely on December 28th, I started doing my homework, starting with math. The last day of the year, December 31, I spent staying at home resting and doing my homework. At 6:30 pm my father and I went to mass, where I was still an altar boy. My mother didn't come because she had to see what to cook for the big dinner, my sister because she was busy with homework and my brother because she was a little tired. What did you do on the last day of the year? I don't tell you what I did the other days because they are quite similar. I still wish her well.

Best regards,

Stephanie
