TEXTUAL ANALYSIS OF THE SONG: PEACE – BETHEL MUSICA FEAT. WE THE KINGDOM

The song is arranged into eight stanzas. There is no regular pattern. There is a speaking voice who speaks in the first person. In the first line we can find a simile, and in the latter the speaking voice wants to make it clear that in his head there is a lot of confusion, so much so that it seems like a battlefield, moreover, he wants to make it clear that for him hope in human beings is lost. In the second line he says that he no longer trusts anyone and that he just wants to run away and hide. The speaking voice says that when he feels this way the only thing reassures him and peace. In line three the speaking voice says that there is only one place where he feels comfortable, namely the arms of his angel. In the bridge he clarifies, that is, he explains who the angel is, or rather God. And he says that he has never abandoned him and has always protected him. In the final chorus he repeats that God is the only one to give him peace.
