The music played at Sydney Opera House by Simply Red is not what I'm used to listen to, but even so I still liked it. I usually listen to emotional music, something that really brings out my feelings and make me think about the good or bad things in my life, but I can also enjoy this type of music. Its only goal is to let the listener have fun and dance to the rhytm, to let him take a break from his everyday life and routines and just enjoy his time at the concert.
I think that the band performing, Simply Red, is really underrated because I've never heard of them, yet they are really good at making music. I'm surprised there aren't more people talking about them, they deserve to be more famous in my opinion: the instrumental is really lovely and the singer is very talented. I also like the background singers: the show wouldn't be the same without them. Of course the musicians are also really important for the sake of all the different songs: their job is to give the singers a base on which they can sing on, they set the notes the singers need to reach. All these different people working together to make something absolutely beautiful. I really appreciate musicians, singers and all the people that help, even in the slighest, to make something as wonderful as music; they put their effort, energy, emotions and passion into their songs, and they share these deep and complicated feelings with the whole world. They must be really strong-willed to do something like that, and I admire them for it. I really do.
