It’s a historical drama set in the United states before the start of civil war. The film is based on the true-life story of Solomon Northup, a free black man New York who is sold into slavery. He fights to stay alive and to preserve his dignity. When he meetsby chance a Canadian abolotionist, his life changes.

It’s a really good film. You must holds your attention from begging to end.
