  1. The poet would eclipse the sun closing his eyes, but he doesn’t do that because he wants to admire his lover’s beauty.
  2. He says her eyes are brighter than beams.
  3. His woman is the brightest creature and she is compared to India, the most famous country in wealth of spice and mineral. Also, their love is huge, but it is all in his bed.

From line 5 to line 8, the poet uses an imperative verb (“go chide”, “go tell”, “call”) in order to scold the Sun. The poet wants the Sun not to interfere with lovers, but it should disturb other common people, for example the courtiers, the farmers, the school-boy and the apprentices.
