Summer sports: skateboarding, swimming, Zumba, kayaking, sailing 

Winter sports: hockey, ice skating, skiing

  1. Cecilia was born in 2001. La differenza è che in inglese be born si usa al simple past quando si indica dove o quando è nato qualcuno. Se ci si riferisce all’atto del nascere in generale, allora be born può essere usato anche al simple present.
  2. Nella forma affermativa è importante sapere se un verbo è regolare o irregolare perché i verbi regolari si costruiscono togliendo il to dall’infinito e aggiungendo to, mentre i verbi irregolari corrispondo alla seconda voce del paradigma.
  3. L a differenza sostanziale è che dopo did il verbo è alla forma base, all’infinito senza il to. 
  4. Perché avrebbe dovuto scrivere: 

“Miss Sheridan, I’m sorry but I didn’t do the exercises because I wasn’t very well”.
