- Nella forma affermativa è importante sapere se un verbo è regolare o irregolare perché i verbi regolari si costruiscono togliendo il to dall’infinito e aggiungendo to, mentre i verbi irregolari corrispondo alla seconda voce del paradigma.
- L a differenza sostanziale è che dopo did il verbo è alla forma base, all’infinito senza il to.
- Perché avrebbe dovuto scrivere:
“Miss Sheridan, I’m sorry but I didn’t do the exercises because I wasn’t very well”.
