Show’s protagonist are Jin’er, the daughter of a concubine and of an rich and important men, and Chu Xiuming, noted as Demon General.

At the beginning of the episode, we can se Jin’er and handmaid playing a game with some villagers: who wins can ask for a favour. Jin’er is winning all matches when guards find her and bring her father house. Here an artist paint her: Demon General is looking for a wife.

In the Jin’er family there are a lot of sisters, but, and the end she has to marry him.

Her mom doesn’t want to let her go, but Jin’er she only accepts so if her father and sisters promise not to bully her mum again.

So she and her handmaid start in a horse-raided carriage.

For the last part of the way, they are escorted by a troupe, but at a certain point they are attacked. Fortunately Demon General arrives and kills the enemy soldiers.

They re-start travelling, but forget the two ladies in the forest.

They can arrive at the palace just before they close the door. The handmaid helps Jin’er climbing over the wall, so she enters in the general’s house.

There she meets Chu Xiuming, but she thinks he’s a normal soldier. When she goes out, she sees some soldiers found her handmaid and want to kill her. Jin’er blocks them and, thinking one of them is the general, says she is her wife. Then understand that the man she spoke to is her husband.

The episode finishes with Chu Xiumingbehind his back.
