After the dinner with the court artist Shen Jin felt sick so the General leaded her out for a walk to help with her indigestion. They walked for a while in the garden separated from a kind of scarf. The next morning the Lady’s mother sent her a letter and a drawing; when the general saw the drawing he noticed a resemblance to that of the secret chamber. So, he left the city with Shen Jin and they went to the tomb. After the General asked her to break into the secret door they both entered. Shen Jin had fallen into a trap and the General came to protect her from the arrows flying through the air. Then the General opened the tomb with the Lady’s pendant and found something. They returned home and Shen Jin treated the General's wounds. She was a little bit afraid by all the scars on his body and he told her that was because he needs to scare enemies and protect the country. He apologized for suspecting her to be a spy and she told him he is different from what she heard before. They kissed but soon after someone knocked on the door Shen Jin left. She is very happy and asked her maid to decorate the room to spend the night with the general, but he was thinking of his parents who died during an attack when he was a kid. This episode ends with the General writing a divorce paper for Shen Jin.
