General's Lady - Episode 4 - Summary

After the last episode, Jin'er is stuffed and wants to lay down, but the General doesn't let her, insisting on going for a walk to help her digest; but she isn't willing to do that, so she ends up being dragged around by General Chu. The next day the lady receives a letter from her mother, in which she advises her to start learning embroidery and attaches a sewing pattern, but the scheme looks awfully familiar to General Demon, who after examinating the drawing decides to bring her to the secret room. After lockpicking her way in, Jin'er immediately realizes that this is not a safe place and starts to think that maybe he brought her there to kill her, like he did with the other three wives he had, so she starts to panic a little and looking for an exit. In doing that, she finds a secret room, triggers the traps of this place and gets saved from General Chu. Afterwards, he notices a strange-looking cavity on the grave: he places the jade pendant in it and the grave opens, revealing a series of wooden boxes ending in the lost gemstone.
After running out of the tomb and coming back to the mansion, Jin'er wants to heal the General's wound, but she finds out about other past scars, and after a deep conversation between the two, she ends up confessing to him and they kiss. The lady is really excited about it and starts fantasizing about her night with the General, while he practises fighting. In this last part, we even see a flashback of a dramatic event in his childhood: his parent's death.
