Exercise 19

A few summers ago me and my family celebrated my mother's birthday in Croatia. At the return we stopped to visit a pretty town on a mountain, called Montona.
After lunch in a local restaurant, where I had the pasta with sauce, we visited the centre of the town. I remember there was a mess: there were a lot of streets and tunnels and it was easy to get lost.
Obviously, my brother and I stopped to pet a cat. Meanwhile, our parents walked away without noticing us, so we remained alone in an unknown town. I tried to stay calm and to be next to my little brother, while I was looking for help. I got the idea of going to the nearby bar and calling my parents on the phone.
In this way, mum and dad reached us and, unfortunately but maybe rightly, rimprovered us.
