The English Renaissance is a period that goes from the 16th to the 17th centurie. During this period England was affected by many changes such as:health care, life quality, religion and traditions.

During English renaissence there were some important fact.
The first is The Act of supremacy of the 1534, which stated the foundation of the English church and the key role of the king in the newborn church.
The second act of supremacy was declered by Elizabeth I after she came to the throne. By this act the Book of Payer was made compulsory. Also Elizabeth increased the power of English fleet with a new fleet named Invicibile armada.
Also during the reign of Elizabeth I england reached a period of peace and economical increase.

after the death of Elizabeth I, came to the throne James VI of Scotland, who unified Scotlandand England and founded the United Kingdom on the first of May 1707.

During this period puritans were persecuted, so a groupof piligrims got away from England byusing a ship called "Mayflower" and went to the new wolrd, the america.
