SUMMARY OF THE FIFTH EPISODE OF METEOR GARDEN

Lei suffered from a mild form of autism, and when he and Jing were little Jing kept looking for him, even though he didn't calculate it. It’s thanks to Jing that he’s like this today.

After the dance Lei wants to declare himself, but Jing tells him that she already knows and walks away.

After blowing out the candles, Jing announces that she wants to give up his legacy because she wants to help the poor.

Within a few days she will return to Paris to continue her studies and won’t return for a long time because she wants to have a purpose in life. And she cuts her hair with scissors as a sign of decision.

She goes off to cry, Jing follows him and tells him she knew what he wanted to tell her and couldn't say yes and hugs her. Shancai follows them too, sees the scene and gets drunk.

As he walks through the corridors she meets Si and they start arguing, but she leans on his chest and vomits into his shirt.

Then he takes her home from the party and she doesn't remember anything in the morning.

At school she meets him and doesn’t thank him or apologize for throwing up on him; he also tells her that if Jing goes to Paris she won’t be able to stay with Lei. Shancai goes to the roof to see how she is and they talk about Jing.

Shancai tries to stop her from leaving for France, but as Lei had already told her, she doesn't listen to anyone.

Lei sees her talking to Jing, scolds her for always interfering and chasing her away.

She goes to the roof and does a handstand to keep the tears from falling, as Jing had taught him.

All F4, Shancai, Qinche, except Lei, go to the airport to greet Jing and Si and Shancai talk about love.

Then comes Lei, who had already been there for an hour hidden behind a column and shows his ticket for the next flight to Paris: Jing will follow. She kisses Shancai on the forehead and leaves.

They go to the roof of the airport to see the plane leave and Si goes to Shancai and declare themselves, but she doesn’t hear him because of the noise of the plane, he tells her that she is deaf and leaves.

While Si's at the bar, Ximen and Meizuo give him better advice for a perfect date, but he says what they've told him is just bullshit; then they tell him to be difficult.

While Shancai and Qinche are at school they discover they have been challenged to a Bridge game the next day. They are afraid even to join the club. If they win Si will have to carry the backpack to Qinche while if they lose they will have to do everything that Si says.
