Summary of episode 4-5-6 of General’s Lady

In the fourth episode Shen Jin received a letter from her mother. The general recognize noticed that the letter’s pattern is the same of the tomb. So he took the lady in a secret tomb. There the lady was saved by the General, who protected her from the tomb’s traps. After this event the lady found that the general is very different from the one that she has heard and after she kissed him. At the end of the episode the general had a flashback about his parents who died when he was a kid.                                                                                                In the fifth episode Shen Jin found a divorce letter written by the general in her bed after she woke up. She felt angry and disappointed and she refused to divorce. The general insisted that he wanted to focus on his career and he has no time for a relationship. After he left the mansion and went to his barracks. Shen Jin followed him at the barracks and she pretended to be one of general’s soldiers. The general tried to help her but she doesn’t want to get helped. The general decise to let herhave anything she wished as long as she didn’t mess around. So, she asked for wine which was forbidden in the camp. She got drunk and ran away. The general followed her but she felt in a lake.                   In the sixth episode the General saved Shen Jin and after the Lady found that it’s general’s birthday she gave him a soup has dinner but he rejected it. The lady felt angry so she returned to the mansion. She decided t return at the barracks by pretending to be the supervisor inspect the general’s army.

Summary of Civil Rights Movement

In 1865 Abraham Lincoln declared the end of slavery and African American became full citizens of the USA and in 1870 men were given the right to vote. But in 1950s racial segregation still existed. For example black people couldn’t attend the same schools as white people. But in the 1950s there were two key events. The first event made possible to black people to attend the same schools as white people. The second event made possible to stop the segregation on buses. Martin Luther King was one of the leaders of the Civil Rights Movement. In 1963 he gave with his famous “I Have a Dream” speech in Washington DC.$ years later he was assassinated.
