I INTRODUCE MY BROTHER

My brother’s name is Leonardo. He is eleven years old. He was born on the fourteenth of February 2009, in Palmanova. His zodiacal sign is Aquarius. He is tall and thin. He has got short blonde hair and green eyes.

He is Italian and he lives in Perteole, a little village in Friuli Venezia Giulia, a region in the North-East of Italy. He likes Perteole because his best friend lives near us and they can go out and ride their bicycles.

He is a student. He is in year six. He attends the first form A. He goes to school on foot because the school is near our house. In his school you study: Maths, Sciences, Italian, Arts, Physical Education, Religion, History and Geography. His favourite subjects are Maths, Physical Education and Arts. He doesn’t like Geography and Italian.

In his spare time he practices judo, he has lessons three times a week and he usually has a match once a month. He doesn’t mind reading; he likes fantasy and horror books. He loves staying outdoor. His favorite outdoor sport is basketball. He also likes playing tennis, archery and football. He sometimes paints. He likes painting people.

In the evening he loves watching films. He likes action and adventure films, but he also doesn’t mind comedies.

He loves travelling. He always has a lot of project for summer holidays.

He likes skiing and he usually goes to the mountains with his best friend.

His best friend is Mattia. He lives in Perteole. They often play in the garden or they do homework together. They are in the same class, too.

Leonardo doesn’t like getting up early. When he has school, he gets up at seven o’clock a.m. Then he has breakfast with me. He generally has milk with musli, or sometimes he eats biscuits. After breakfast he brushes his teeth and he gets dressed. He always dresses in a sporty way to go to school.

At a quarter to eight he goes to school. His lessons start at eight o’clock a.m. and finish at one o’clock p.m.

After school we have lunch together. We usually eat pasta and salad. In the afternoon he does his homework. On Tuesday, Thursday and Friday he has judo lessons and on Wednesday he has piano lesson.

At about half past seven p.m. we have dinner. For dinner we generally have fish, meat, toast and once a week our mother cooks pizza!

In the evening we watch TV together. At about ten o’clock we go to bed.

In the weekend Leonardo loves getting up late. He usually gets up at ten o’clock a.m.!

Then he always has breakfast on the sofa and after breakfast he does some homework. In the afternoon he generally meets Mattia and they play together, or they go out for a walk.
