I LOOK INTO MY GLASS ANALYSIS
Considering the title the reader can notice two words that emerges from it: “look” and “Glass”. These two words appear primarily because they were written with a capital letter even if not placed in a place where the capital letter is to be used. The word “glass” means a lot of things but accosted with the term “look” seems to mean that the subject of the sentence: "i" is a person wearing glasses; but to confirm the suppositions made after the reading of the title the poem must be read.
Looking the layout we can see that the poem, although not divided into stanzas, assumes a pattern.
The intelligent reader divides that in three quartrains each with similar characteristic.
The third line of every quatrain is longer than others. Regarding the sound field without reading the poem fully we can notice that the last words or the last word of the first line of every stanza is similar with the third and the second is similar with the fourth on the sound level.
Reading the poem we realize that the poem really refers to the glasses, moreover from sight. references are made to old skin, with signs of expression because it is through glasses that you can look around or in the mirror and you can notice how time passes quickly with the knowledge that death is approaching.
