In England there is one place where there are celebrities’ waxwork statues. It call Madame Tussaud’s. Visitors can see famous politicians, pop stars, actors, actresses and even famous criminals. It takes six months to create a lifelike wax model. They are so expensive, in fact one of them costs £40.000 to make. Moreover the museum is continuously updated. When any famous person isn’t famous any more, they are taken out of the collection for a while. If some visitors want to see them again or complains about a statue, they melt the statue down and re-use the wax to make another one… many celebrities only have short-lived fame, but some, a special few, have ever-lasting fame.
