Module SALS
The module is aimed at providing in put on the implementationof strategies assisting and reinforcing students' autonomy in the learning process. It follows that it will consider the different skills (listening-speaking-reading and writing) and start from the assumption of a student-centered syllabus design.
The teacher's role will therfore be intended as the one of a mediator, a tutor, a facilitator and an encourager of the learner's personal knowledge construction.
It will start therefore from the trainees' linguistic biography which is a relevant part of their personal portfolio, to go on considering the role of the coursists' teachers, their teaching styles and coursists' experience abroad in close contact with native speakers.
