Today, 11th March 2010 at 11:30 a.m., my classmates and I have got a new experience: with Mr.Sponza and Mrs. Belatramini, our English teacher, during the fourth period of lesson, we have gone into the garden of the school to begin the first phase of a practical study of an ecosystem.

Ecosystem which we intend study trough this experience is LAWN SYSTEM.

The first phase has foreseen the setting of the traps which we have arranged in a chess shape respecting Mr.Sponza’s direction.

In some empty yogurt pots ore some plastic glasses we have poured an alcohol and water solution (50%) and we expect to find in them some insects who live in the ground.

We are waiting for a week to see what is going to happen.

It is the first time that we have personally experimented a data-gathering (insets we expect to find) which we are going to observe and analyse referring to classification’s keys or referring to some categories refer to differences and similarities which we are going to consider more appropriate to use, according to an observation on what we find.
