Today,11^th March 2010,at about 11.30,we have had a new experience:we went with Mr Sponza and Miss Beltramini,our English teacher, to the school garden during the fourth period of lessons(it had just snowed) to start the first stage of pratical study experience of an ecosystem.

The ecosystem we are going to study with this experience is the lawn system.

The first stage foresaw the setting of traps that they have been arranged in a chess shape,respecting the distance given by Mr Sponza. We used some empty yogurt jars or plastic glasses in which we poured a water and  alcohol at 50% solution where we expect to find some insects that live in the ground.

We are waiting for a week to see what it will happen.

It's the first time we have tested firsthand a data collection(insects we expect to find) that we are going to observ and analise based on some classification keys,or referring to categories based on similarities and differences that we will consider more appropriate to use according to a meditation about what we will find.
