Log Book of Today's experience

Today, 11st of March 2010, at half past eleven, we were doing a new experience.

With Mr. Sponza and Mss. Beltramini, during the fourth hour we went to the garden of our school, where before had snowed, to start the first stage of a practical study experience of an ecosystem.

The ecosystem that we are going to study across this experience is meadow ecosystem.

The first stage foresaw the setting of traps that have been arranged in a chess shape: respecting the distance given us from Mr. Sponza, we used empty jars of yogurt or plastic glasses where we have put into a solution from alcohol and water at 50% where we aspect to find insects that live in that ground. We have to wait for one week to see what is going to happen.

It's the first time that we have tested personally a data collection (insects we expect to look out) that after we will observe and we will analyse on classification keys or on categories referring to differences and similes that we will consider to use in according to a reflection about what we will find.
