a. He was in Paris in 2 Avenue St. Philibert, Passy on the 2nd of April in 1932.
b. He wrote to his American publisher: as a matter of fact he wanted the copyrights for Ulysses.

In this letter Joyce explained to his American publisher the problems to publish his book Ulysses in Paris, because it wasn't consider good; but with Ezra Pound's help it was pubblished in 1922. Also the pubblication of it in America and in Great Britain had problems, because he couldn't have the copyright.
