S: Yes, please. I saw this pair of trainers from the street window. I really like it. Can I try them on?

A:  Sure, what size are you ?

S: 40, please.

A: Here you are.

S: Thank you.

A: How do they feel?

S:  Oh, to tell the truth they are too small. Have you got the next size up?

A: Let me check. No, I haven't a bigger one in blue. But I have it in red. Would you like to try them?

S: Oh... yes, please.

A: Ok, here you are.

S: Thanks.

A: How do you feel now?

S: I feel fine. And I like them. They're better than the blue ones. I'll take them.

A: So, it's  £50.

S: Here you are. Good bye.

A: Thank you, bye!

Racconto a un amico come ho passato il weekend

Simone: Hi Marco.

Marco: Hi Simone.

S: How are you?

M: Fine, thanks. And you?

S: Fine. What did you during the last weekend?

M: Oh, I went to London with my parents, the usual trip. And you?

S: Well, it was an interesting weekend; I did a lot of things. First on Saturday I went to Cambridge with my friend David. On Sunday morning I played football and after that I had lunch in a restaurant in Oxford. The afternoon was exciting, I went to the amusement arcade with some friends and we played all the afternoon.

M: So did you enjoyed your last weekend?

S: Yes,  I did. What aboiut you?

M: No, the trips to London are getting boring.  I prefer visiting another city.

S: Oh, I'm sorry. I have to gonow. See you tomorrow!

M:  Bye-bye!

S: Bye!
