Georgian style is an architectural style current between 1720 and 1804.

It takes its name from the Georgian dynasty - George I of Great Britain, George II of Great Britain, George III of the United Kingdom and George IV of the United Kingdom - who reigned from 1714 to 1830.

The style is characterized by the use of regularity and symmetry between its parts, the use of proportion and it is a revival of the classical style.

All the elements are arranged to convey the idea of perfection typical of the classical style.
