Sonnet 29 is organized into 3 quatrains and a final couplet.in the first two quatrains . the speaking voice  speaks about his mood: he is sad because of his outcast state. He feels himself unlucky unfortunate in front of destiny and men's eyes and without beauty.he cries his desperate state and he feels all alone. It sounds as if he hates himself. He troubles heaven with his cries because he would like to change his condition but even if he prays heaven this does not listen to him. In line 4  he becomes occupied with self-reflection.He describes other men that are in a better state. He would like to change his sense of uneasiness and to be like these men (people that are more hopeful, more skilled, surrounded by friends). He does not appreciate his strengths and he seems to hate himself. But in third quatrains and in the coulplet the inner condition of the speaking voice changes: he thinks about his beloved, probably a young man, he immediately forgets all his lacks and difficulties. however, for the sonnet ends with a positive affirmation that the poet can combat his anguish with the "sweet love"  of his dear friend. Word state have more meanings and it is in a strong position:social state, a mental or physcal state.
