A day in my life I can not forget is the day when I flow to Scotland. I packed my baggage a week before and finally the day was arrived. It was the 13th July and the weather was sunny. It was very hot but in my baggage I had some pullover and winter wearing. In the morning my parents drove me to the Friuli Venezia Giulia's airport in Ronchi dei Legionari. Here there were our teacher, Miss Diane and a lot of boys and girls. We were about fifty. We were very happy and after the roll call we said goodbye to our parents and we went to the cheek-in. We set by plane out and in the plane I was sitting near two of my future room's friends. After two hours travel we arrived at Birmingham and we continued the travel by coach. Diane said to us that the travel was long, about six hours. But that was not truth. We travelled for nine hours. It was a very long time and we were very stew but outside it was wonderful. There were a lot of green meadows and sheep, sheep and sheep again. And then cows, cows and cows again. There were a lot of other animals as fawns, rabbits and horses. We went across some village. The houses were strange, very different to Italian houses because they were older than ours. Finally we arrived at Glenisla, where there was our college. Glenisla is a place in the countryside in the north of Scotland. There is a two hours from Edinburgh and it is about half an hour from the first village. Near the college there is nothing... only meadows and lakes. The college was an old round castle because the Lord who lived here was afraid to the ghosts and here says that the ghosts hide their selves in the corners. We arrived there at about ten p.m. and we had lunch. We ate pizza. It was disgusting. The pizza is only an Italian food!!! After the very long travel day we were exhausted and we went to our rooms. There were some children who cried because they missed their parents. My room was on the first floor and it was the number seven. In it we were in six and we had three bunk bed. But two of my room's friend slept on the floor because one of the bunk beds was in another room connected to ours. We put the baggage in order and we washed ourselves. But unfortunately we did not have the bath in the room but in the college there were two bathrooms: one for the girl and one for the boys. After that we went to bed but we did not sleep immediately but we spoke again. My room's friend was very nice and we had a nice holiday together. At about midnight finally we slept waiting for the next day when we had English lesson and some activities. It was a fantastic holiday.
