I think I will never forget Easter Monday in 2009.

I usually spent Easter Monday with my family: we had lunch in a restaurant or a picnic in the country with my aunt, my uncle and my cousins too. Later we usually went for a ride on our bicycles to my grandmother's house in Cervignano. We stayed there all the afternoon and we usually went to the cinema to see a film in the evening. I like staying with my family, but it is boring to do the same thing every year ...I wanted to change, to do something new on this day.

That's why this year my parents let me stay with my friends on Easter Monday. I was really excited because I always have a lot of fun with them... They are really brilliant people!

My friends and I decided to spend this day in Grado, because we love the beach.

I got up at about 9 o'clock in the morning and had a big breakfast with all my family. We had a cup of milk, some chocolate and a slice of cake (my mother did it because she loves cooking ad is a great cook too). Then I got ready to go to Grado and my father drove me there.

My friends and I met at 10 o'clock in the morning opposite Grado's supermarket because we had to buy something to eat and to drink to make a picnic on the beach. We bought some bottles of cola and tea, some crisps, some sandwiches and lots of sweets and then we went to the beach by bike.

The weather was quite hot and sunny and the sea was calm...We felt that summer was getting closer...

We played all together volleyball and football in the morning. I usually hate playing sports but that day I enjoyed it.

At about 12:30 we had lunch and spoke about our Easter Day. After lunch we played cards, listened to music and lied in the sun. It was really relaxing and pleasant.

Someone had a walk along the seashore and someone else even had a swim. I stayed on the beach...The water was too much cold in my opinion!

We took lots of photos and had really a lot of fun. I met new people and learnt something more about my older friends... Now we are almost like a family... It's really fantastic! We get on well very much.

We stayed on the beach till about 7:00 o'clock pm. Then my father took me back home by car.

I had a long shower and at about 8:00 o'clock in the evening I had dinner at home with all my family. I watched a really interesting film with my parents in the evening and at about 10:30 pm I went to bed.

 I remember that I was really tired that evening! But I was happy too... It was a fantastic day, I forgot all my problems and felt really good.

I hope we could repeat this great experience next year...

I will never forget this day!
