A day in my life I cannot forget was the 20th of May of 2000,my sixth birthday.
It was a rainy,cloudy and foggy day.In the morning I woke up late and I looked trought the window the bad weather but in spite of it I was very cheerful.On my birthdays I used to have a big lunch with all my family and I always had a lot of fun but that year i had a different plan.At about 11 i had a special breakfast with my mum,it was great and still now I think i have never had a better breakfast.Then while I was waiting my dad I unrapped some of my gifts, I was very happy because they were all nice but i still didn't know what was waiting me.My dad came at about midday from Zagreb,he greeted me smiling and he gave me a big box.He put it on the wooden table in my small kitchen and he saied me to open it.I think he was excited.It was a strange red carton box with a big golden tassel on it and it looked very heavy.I was very curious and when i opened it i saw...a little dog!I was so amazed!I have wanted a pet for so much time!It was a little,golden and adorable labrador.I thanked my dad thousands of times.It was love at first sight.Then we went to the seaside and we played all the time with the dog.
We had dinner in an open restaurant and while we was eating the dessert we decited to call the dog Zoe.
I love the name Zoe but after some month i found out that it is a female name and my dog is a male!
After the dinner we came home and i blew on my six pink candles of a chocolate cake.I really had a great fun and i went to bed late waiting impatient the morning after to play with Zoe
I remember that day because i felt a lot of emotions and i begin to go out with my dog how i do every evining today.Zoe now is 9 years old but he isn't alone,he has a friend called Leo,a black labrador one year older than him.
