The day I cannot forget is a beautiful day.  It is the day when I fished the biggest fish I have captured till now.

I really like fishing, it is very exciting getting a fish and it is even more beautiful when the fish is very big. There are days whena I am lucky and days when I'm not lucky, but even if I am lucky I don't catch very big fish.

I usually go with my friends fishing in several rivers and lakes of the "Bassa Friulana".

I caught it in a day of summer. I went with my friends Matteo, Marco and Tomas to "Cà del lago", a lake situated in Zellina, a country in Friuli Venezia Giulia near San Giorgio di Nogaro. It is a hidden lake and only a few people know it, and then there is a lot of fish.

In this lake there are a lot of fishes: carps (carpe), pikes (lucci) and eels(anguille).

Since only a few people know that lake, the fishes aren't caught and they increase in size.

A day my friends and I decided to go to Zellina. So we took our scooters and we went to Zellina.

When we arrived at "Cà del lago" there wasn't anybody and then we could fish quietly.

We had three fishing poles each.

So we choosen our best places and we started fishing at about eight (am) o'clock.

After a hour my friends had fished some fishes, but I hadn't fished nothing yet.

During the morning I hadn't been as lucky as my friends, but in the afternoon I started to get some fish.

After some captures, a thing happened: I threw the fishing-line in the centre of the lake. After a few minutes a fish taked the bait. So I started to wind in.

It was a very strong fish and it shoved much. For this reason it was very difficult to get it.

It was a hard fight.

After about an hour I finally arrived to catch it.

It was a carp. His weight was 20 kilos. It was a very big and beautiful fish.

After I released the fish.

I couldn't belive it! It was incredible that I had caught a so much big fish.

I was very happy for this capture. I won versus my friends and I had finally got a big fish.

It was a beautiful day, a day I will never forget.

I hope I will have the chance to catch another fish as big as this, but  I don't think I will catch a so much big fish again.

I think this is a beautiful sport because I can relax and because I enjoy myself when I do it with my friends.
