Before i read i expect the poem deals with solitude and loneliness,that is about the feelings and emotions felt by somebody,in this case a reaper.That's becouse of the title.

 The poem is about a woman,the solitary reaper,who works in the fields while she is singing a beautifull song; this song captured the writer and he tries to describe that emotion in the poem but that's very difficult for him.

The poet tries to compare her song with a nightingale and a cuckoo-bird too,but her song is the best one; besides, the poet can't understand the words of the song, he's captured by the musical melody and so, the notes. He tries to guess the theme of the song (unhappy experiences,battles..).

 The poem is organized into 4 stanzas (4 octaves)

1^stanza: introduces the scene;

2^ stanza: comparisons

3^ stanza: theme of the song

4^ stanza: poet convinction -->he'll never hear that song another time.

There are tree main semantic camps: feelings,nature,music.
