                                                                                                    People didn't believe in God and future

LITERATURE:

Omniscient narrator was not credible , so literature changed its narrative techniques:

omniscient narrator is substituted by SHIFT OF POINT OF VIEW.

Narrator left that characters speak for themselves.

Reader's position changed: now there are not moral judgment from narrator, so is the reader that gives a judgement about texts.

PHILOSOPHY:

Albert Einstein demonstrated his theory of relativity, so conception about space and time was twist.

People started to think about times:

  • Chronological time
  • Philosophical time
  • Verb tenses: tells about past, present and future

People reflected about present: "What is present?"

Present is a sum of our pass memories and experiences and expectations of our future life;

Time is a simultaneity of past's and future's experiences and it is not linear.
