My Mistress' eyes are nothing like the sun is a sonnet written by Shakespeare. As the other Renaissance sonnets, the sonnet I am going to analyse is made up by fourteen lines.

In the sonnet the narrator says that his lover's eyes are not like the sun and his lover's lips are red but not the same coral's red because it is more red than them.

He asks himself why her breasts are grey and not white like the snow. Later the narrator compares her hairs to black wires, he continues to explain his mistress' features underlining her way to be and explaining how she influences his person. He is in love with her. Thanks the love he values his woman,  how she breathes and walks and her physical features.
