Ecology

Ecology has become very important in the last few decades.

Human beings should find a solution to solve tghe problems of ecology.

In order to understand the relations of an ecosystem man must know botany, zoology, physiology, genetics and other disciplines like physics, chemistry and geology.

There were many biologists that dealt with ecology, for example: Ernest Haechel. He coined the term ecology, August Thienemann and Charles Elton tried to work for the ecology of the communities.

New name for an old problem

The problems ecology are not new.

• In the Neolithic period, men altered the ecosystems because they destroyed woods to produce spaces where to sow.
• In Greece, Plato wrote a testimony of the deforestation of Attica’s mountains and he dealt with the importance of water.
• In the Fifties, different land areas were modified by man’s action; engineering became important and so there was the necessity to use new areas.

People was aware of the dramatic situation. In 1992 the member of the United Nations met at the Conference on “Environment and Development” and they spoke about the problems caused by industrial development.

Everybody should know these problems and for this reason is indispensable an educational process. Schools, for example, should give some piece of information about ecology: the Earth faces is in danger of contaminations and some species and animals should die.

Per noi l’ecosistema è un sistema formato dalla fauna, dalla flora e da altri elementi come la l’ossigeno, l’acqua, il sole e la terra che sono tutti in relazione fra loro e la scomparsa di un elemento determina un’importante trasformazione se non la scomparsa degli altri.

L’uomo può mettere in pericolo l’equilibrio dell’ecosistema con deforestazioni o con l’inquinamento.

L’ecosistema è l’insieme dell’ambiente, della flora e della fauna.

L’ambiente è caratterizzato e spesso determinato dal clima.

I componenti sono in relazione tramite la catena alimentare. Ogni componente ha un suo ciclo vitale: dalla vita alla morte.

L’ecosistema è un tipo di ambiente dove vivono la fauna, la flora e gli uomini.

L’ecosistema è l’habitat dove vivono la fauna, la flora e l’uomo, tutti legati fra loro attraverso la catena alimentare.

L’ecosistema è l’insieme delle specie che vivono sulla terra.

Un ecosistema è composto anche dall’ambiente oltre alla fauna  e alla flora.
