Chesil Beach is situated in Dorset, in the South-East of England

The beach is a tombolo, a sort of island which is attached to the mainland by a piece of land, so Chesil Beach is "in the middle" of the sea.

The shingle beach is 29 kilometres. It goes from West bay to Cliff End.
