Finding out about Chesil Beach

Chesil Beach is situated in the South of England on the Dorset coast. It is 18 miles long and it goes from Portland to the west Bay. Its technical name is a "tombolo" that acts as a natural sea defence protecting the coast from battering waves.

What is the Georgian style like?

The Georgian style is a revival of classical style flourished in Grait Britain from the reign of George I (1714) to the George's IV death (1830). Regular and simmetry are the main features of the Georgian style that adhere to classical rules. The style is inspired from the italian architect Andrea Palladio.
