2.Where is used the third person narrator? And when is used interior monologue ?
Third person narrator speaks through the character's point of view : She had reached the Park gates.......she would not say of herself"
Interior monologue:" I am this, I am that".
Third person narrator "her only gift was knowing........Sylvia, Fred, Sally Seaton"
Interior monologue: "such hosts of people...and driving home across the Park"
Third person narrator "She remembered......
Exercise 2:
a)Positive and negative aspects of Clarissa.
Negative aspects: She would not say of everyone, She knew nothing, she know people almost by instinct
Positive aspects: she remembered, she reflects, she was positive
b) What is Clarissa's attitude to the past and to the present?
When she was in the middle of people, in the Park she would not say about them, but when she think about the past she enjoy herself. But sometimes she doesn't want to remember, as an example when the narrator said " she would say about Peter"
She seem to have fear in the passing of time watching the environment . Present is consider fleeting and it must go on even without her.
c) What are the contradictory aspects in her personality that come out of this text?
She felt very young at the same time unspeakably aged, she was with other people but she feel alone
She sliced like a knife, at the same time was outside
She would not say of Peter, Peter survived, lived in each other
d)What are the feelings towards death?
"She always ha the feeling that it was very very dangerous to live even one day."
Looking at a fat woman she asked herself if she must inevitably cease completely and all must goon without her. She asked also if is right to believe that death ended absolutely. She was positive
-How is the quotation from Shakespeare that she reads in the book connected to her feelings?
The quotation is connected to Mrs Dalloway's feelings. She is thinking about the sense of her life, she demonstrate to be a complicate character. Through the reflection she seems to change her opinion , now she is positive. At the same way Shakespeare underline a changing through the words "no more fear"

The function of the repetition is used in order to convey the reflection of the woman, her concept of time.
