In this letter Joyce explained to his American publisher yhe problems to publish his book Ulysses in Paris, because it wasn't consider good; but with Ezra Pound's help it was pubblished in 1922. Also the pubblication of it in America and in Great Britain had problems, because he couldn't have the copyright, so some people sold it clandestinely, but finally he have obtained an injuction. He wished that his American publisher was able to legalize his book, so he cuold have copyright for Ulysses.
