“Ozymandias” Shelley

The poem is about a sculpture which lays in the desert, maybe in Egypt.

The speaking voice met a traveller from an old land.

The traveller said that the sculpture is half sunk, it has a shattered face, a wrinkled lip and a sneer of command.

The traveller said that the sculptor was skilled because he managed to make the King of kings' passions survive.
