Denotative Analysis:

In the first quatrain the speaking voice invites young man to understand his beauty and to have children to bless some mother.

In the second quatrain the speaking voice makes two questions inviting this youth not to love only himself but a woman, this because he can't stop his posterity.

In the third quatrain the speaking voice refers to time: he considers April as lovely because in this period nature reborn. Moreover, he says that it is the right period to have a child.

In the couplet the speaking voice addresses again to the young man saying that if he does not follow his advices, he will die alone and with him also his beauty.
