Victor Lustig was on of the most immaginative criminals in the history;he was born near Prague in 1890.

He turned to a life of crime in the 1920s when he emigrated to the USA.

In 1922 ,with a clever trick, he succeeded in a fraud in a missouri's bank.

In 1925 he returned to Europe.In Paris he had an ingenious idea-to sell the Eiffel tower.
After he had sold the Eiffel tower he went to Austria and enjoyed the money.

So Lustig returned in France and then he sold the Eiffel tower another time; The victim went to the police so Lustig had to flee to the USA.

After many more crimes and lucky escapes Lustig was arrested in 1935.

Then he was taken prisoner at the Alcatraz prison where he died in 1947.
