Molly Bloom is in her bed. She is trying to fall asleep, but she starts to think about a lof of things. The flow of her thoughts proceeds by associations and images.

Molly's final words "yes I said yes I will yes" create a very sensual atmosphere. The words may refer to her will of becoming his wife. She accepts finally Leopold's proposal.

 

 

Molly Bloom is an adult and autonomous woman. She does not belong to working class: she is rich and wealthy (for example she is used to have guests at home and to clean her house). She knows what she wants and therefore she is able to take decisions. She has got precise ideas and judges other people (for example atheists). Molly is a very sensuous woman. She had got a lot of men.
