 ha tutto il diritto di presentare tale verità valendosi di circostanze scelte e create in larga misura dalle scelte e creazione dello scrittore stesso..

the point of view in which this tales comes under the romantic definition lies in the attempt to connect a bygone time with the very present that is flitting away from us.

il punto di vista secondo il quale questa narrazione rientra nell'ambito romanzesco, consiste nel tentativo d'intrecciare un tempo ormai andato con il concreto presente che da noi s'invola.
