CRIME DOESN’T PAY

A gang of fourteen robbers broke into a bank in Naples. They were hoping to steal millions of dollars from the safe. But the men had an unpleasant surprise. The guard with a key to the boxes had gone for a coffee and they couldn’t find him. They hadn’t prepared an alternative plan so they left with almost nothing.

A Detroit burglar arrived home after a “successful “ night. He was shocked when a few seconds later he opened the front door and saw his very happy dog … and the police. The man had left his dog outside the house he had burgled . When the police arrived , they shouted “Home boy”!and they followed the dog to the burglar’s house where they arrested him.

Neighbours in the city of Baku could hear music coming an empty flat and decided to call the police. When the police arrived , the thief didn’t even try to escape. After he had broken into the flat and decided to make himself at home. First , he had a bath , and then he had something to eat and drink . After he had finished his dinner  , he saw a piano in the corner and started playing it. He was still singing songs when the police arrived.

Pete had spent a month observing the Parker family , so he knew they went away at weekends . He arrived at their house early on Sunday morning. The alarm didn’t ring when he broke the window because he had already cut the cable . After he had climbed through the window , he looked round the house. It was full of jewels and paintings. He had never saw so many valuable things. He smiled to himself as he drove away because he knew he had stolen  a fortune . Suddenly he felt worried. Had he forgotten something ? Then he realized what it was. He hadn’t worn his gloves !

This morning John realized that someone had broken into his car in the night.

The thieves had escaped before the police arrived.

We didn’t hear the burglars because we had forgotten to lock the front door.

After Sandra had eaten her first pizza he ordered another one !

We watched Tv after we had finished our homework.

They went out as soon as they had had lunch.
