Chris's and Jacky's families were neighbours and lived in Nottingham. Chris and Jacky used to walk to school together. A few years later,  they had fallen in love and were going out together. But after the two families had discovered that, Jacky and her family moved to a new house miles away. They went on going out together in secret, but Jacky's father found out about this and stopped Jacky going out. Chris was desperate and wanted to prove how much he loved her. He took all the roses of Jacky's garden and used them to write “I love you” on the lawn. Jacky's father called the police immediately.
